>..captain flick..<

has anyone (or does anyone) make tea with hot water from the tap?

or does everyone use a kettle?

just so you know...ive always used a kettle.

argh...this morning in the lecture i somehow managed to stab the palm of my hand with a pen and have 2mm of skin lift off...looking at it now it's a deep red coloured circle (blood) with blue ink outline O_o...it's tingly/fuzzy around the area and somehow theres an ache going up my arm from it? im just scared of pen poisoning...

if you look on my other hand, theres a small reddish paper cut i got from the cardboard patient files at work on monday...it's ok atm but stings whenever i wash my hands...

and then on the same hand you'll find a dark scar nearby...which happened to be an ugly looking thing about a month ago...i managed to get that one by putting my hand in my bag...i think it's coz i had these name tag things which have safety pins on the back and the pin mustve unlatched and in my hurry to find my wallet i was thrashing my hand around in my bag...

then not far away again theres another scar, this one is pretty small and faded...i got that one from pumping soap from the soap dispenser in the shower only to have the shower shelf collapse and fall to the floor...

so yes. for the last few months, my hands have cut and scarred. in most unusual ways too? i mean that pen...far out? it's one of those staedtler stick 430 M pens...the typical staedler pens that you find at school...and it's not exactly a sharp pointy thing too... im trying to think what happened...like i moved my arm and the next thing i saw was the pen flick up then felt a stab and scratch and some burning sort of pain...

anyhow...

i failed my p's because when i turned right, i would cut the unbroken double lines. so instead of moving up along closer to the gap where the lines stopped, id stop a little back and hence cut the lines when i turned. i did it twice from what i remember. and she (the testing officer) said i was too cautious and driving too slow, especially when i turned...:

ONE: it was raining (none of that light sprinkling stuff)
TWO: ive never driven in the area before
THREE: it was a really windy area (not the wind; windy as in curvy)

grrr...

parking was fine. more than fine. cept for when i thought i was in reverse but was actually in drive when i was getting out of my parking spot. but it wasnt a huge deal.

anyhow...i know i can drive. i just go into over-cautious mode whenever im with a testing officer, dad tells me off for not being cautious enough when i drive with him...and im at the right level of cautiousness with the driving instructor. ~

btw im officially L-less...>_<

happy birthday irma! (22/07/06)

at irmas "gathering" (as she likes to call it=P), we played this game called captain cook...so someone starts off and says "captain [insert name here]" and the person whose name was called out has to salute while the people either side of the 'captain' have to row...anyhow...they made it so that if you stuffed up 3 times, youd have to do the chicken dance, singing happy birthday to irma...O_O...so irma (and her family and permuda and rav and steph) had the exclusive privilege, once in a lifetime opportunity to see something that wont happen again. =)

and happy birthday leonard + kenneth! (26/07/06)
